A less bleak post for my rather neglected blog - Handmade cards to be given to people I don't particularly know very well, but who have been very kind to me. Making a card is probably a more appropriate gesture of thanks than going to a fancy shop and spending 5 bucks on something trite. And Monochrome on white is most suitable. It is the combination I love best and it is what I see all around me.

Hi Priya. Your cards put shop cards to shame. I have just spent an entertaining half hour showing my husband your work on the iPad he gave me for christmas. He says... And I quote "bong detective is the best image I have seen on the internet in a long time " and Beedi badass grandma got a good laugh too.
Hi Robyn, I am so happy to read your comment this morning. Perhaps illustrating women with a lot of personality is my forte? :-) I enjoyed making those pictures.
And you have an iPad! You are ahead of me with gadgets then. I am still getting used to my smartphone!
Lovely. I'm sure anyone would be honored to receive one of your beautiful cards...
I don't have the smartphone and I'm limping along trying to get used to the ipad, but it really is a wonderful gadget. Yes, feisty women are your forte, Priya. You capture such amazing expressions on the faces and in the body language. We loved the train through the window in Bong detective too.
Hi Robyn, yes, I too have discovered that these gadgets can be wonderful if someone shows you how to use them and all the different things that can be done on them. I know the basics of my smartphone now and I'd be lost without Googlemaps in this city! Thanks for the appreciation of my work over the years. Love it when it comes from you :-)
Sharmon, thank you :-)
