I usually go about my life around this city with an eternal feeling of faint claustrophobia. After my last visit to Lalbagh, I realized it was the lack of open space which brought this stifling feeling on and a once a week visit is a necessity. I went there again last Sunday and simply enjoyed ‘hanging around’ amidst many trees. Here are some pictures.

Lovely. The second pic somehow reminds me of the talking tree Treebeard in LOTR The Two Towers! Almost human! And those seed pods are fascinating!

May I ask how you get the whites in your drawings? Is that by erasing, or is it a white pigment? If it's a professional secret,I understand...

Hi Pallavi, I've used white pastel here. Different brands give different shades and textures of whites and I just play and have fun to see what emerges. In some drawings like the earlier picture of the Moth, I've used the eraser.
Some really deep dark professional advice:
Large doses of chocolate help release lots of energy into your drawings.
oh wouldn't I love to spend some time in this wonder with all those amazing trees.. wonderful seedpods... especially your drawings...
