Neighbourhood

I am fortunate and privileged to be able to live in a beautiful neighbourhood during my last few weeks here in Canada. These pictures are as much for me to remember and enjoy as they are for those of you who stop by to look at them.

They are beautiful! Is that a black walnut shell? It looks like the face of an exotic bird. An owl perhaps?

The light on the mushroom is exquisite. What are the little flowers above that photo? Those violets! I love violets.

I'd like to live in the second house. :)

Thank you. I am curious about that seed too. I will try and find out the name.

I am told that the mushroom is polypore ecailleux.

The little flowers are from moss.

Violets grew so painstakingly in my garden in India, here such an abundance on the pavement!

Yes, I like the second house a lot too :)
